#3 Thats how it grows

Written at home in Brooklyn, New York, on a rainy Friday
Hello, You
I’f you’re reading this then you must be free and in feeling so I’d like to invite you to share some space today, it’s for us. Great to see you again.
Sitting by the window in the studio of light, a space where imagination can wander, take a walk with your ideas and share what you find along the way. You can listen to the sounds of the city buzz and whirl through the gray day. Minds open to the cosmic mix of waking dreams that pour into our heads and hearts. We can dance if we want to.
In this space there exist an abundance of material to paint the picture for the story you can imagine, light or dark. What questions do you wish to wrestle with and in what world do the answers exist? If images or visualizations present themselves, can you describe what they look like? The quest that will be revealed directly depends on the questions asked. Curiosity is the key to the third door, the one you came in.
If you’re still here, let's reflect. So much has happened and so much will continue happening to us, that was just one New York minute. It takes real focus these days to have enough free time for this much intimacy, don’t you agree? Seasons pass in seconds, holding the moments as close as we can, practicing awareness and paying attention at paying attention. How much does it cost these days to sit still?
Everything certainly changes, but what will remain is the way we made each other feel, the openness shared to explore the unknown, the possibilities beyond the constructs of our concrete jungles and the digital realities that we participate in “socially”. Yet, re-wilded we can always be by taking time to see ourselves, in others, being a mirror in a place unfamiliar. There is collective connection we share and even when we aren’t together, I think of us.
Still sitting by the window, gratitude is circulating all throughout the room, highlighting the artifacts that hang on the walls, art made from the stories we told, it couldn’t be done without you. This space brings me great spirit, a New York nest to incubate these explorations, nearly nine years its been, staring out this window, at the greatest city in the world.
And here’s the best part…
We seem to be creating from a place of eternal collaboration, sponging from what’s been and what will continue to be our journeys beyond this moment. For now, we are here, today, together. The best part is we are still free, each to grow our own way.
So grow on, its getting dark outside, thanks for stopping by. The quest continues so we must play our parts and lead by example. Where will we go? What is the contribution of our characters?
Peace, Love and Pizza,
RNR
I dedicate this post to the people who shared their free time, immortalizing the moment with photography, creating for the love of craft and community. I’m forever grateful for you.
